Internet Links

The following are sites I use on a regular basis and have found them to be reliable and trustworthy.

Forums

Slot Forum  - http://www.slotforum.com -  My "Home " discussion Forum and the best to be found on the Web. Based in Europe but with members from around the World. A truly International Forum. I am a "Plus" member which makes me eligible for the great offers they have from time to time.

Slot Car Illustrated (SCI) - http://www.slotcarillustrated.com - An American based site which also is a very good read.  One of the best things about this site is the excellent Race Across America Proxy Race.

Auslot - http://www.auslot.com - An Australian site dedicated to promoting the Hobby "down under". A fabulous little site with some great members. They are really into wooden tracks which is great to see. Some really good progress shots of layouts can be seen.

Home Racing Word - http://p198.ezboard.com/bhomeracingworld -Another friendly American based site which holds some excellent  discussions and very good reviews.

Major Retailers

These are Companies I use to purchase Slot Cars and Spares, all of them are really good, reliable and 100% trustworthy.

Pendle Slot Racing - http://www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/ - One of the very best Companies around. They offer a massive range of cars and spares. They also deliver next day. They offer a 10% discount to Slot Forum "Plus" Members as well as one off special offers.

MRE - http://mre.co.uk - An excellent Company which I use to pre-order new cars. Very competitive pricing structure and next day delivery. I'm a "Star" member which allows me to obtain cars at a very decent price.

Get Slotted - http://www.getslotted.co.uk - Another great site for new cars. I don't use them as much as I used to as they tend to be more expensive than MRE. They do however offer free delivery within the UK.

Slot City - http://www.slotcity.co.uk - Another great Company I use on occasions. They offer a lot of "Specials" at very decent prices. They also run the Swindon Swapmeet, always a great event to attend.

Topslots 'n' Trains - http://www.topslotsntrains.com/topslotsntrains/index.aspGoood Company with fair stock and excellent delivery. They offer free delivery on goods over £30.

Other Retailers and Specialist Suppliers

RS Slotracing - www.rsslotracing.com - The UK Ortman tyres distributor. Run by Colin and Robert. A great site with the full range of Ortman tyres. They also sell a good selection of 3mm components and Scholer Chassis. The only suppliers of Fox motor, I can find, in the UK.

AB Slotsport - www.abslotsport.co.uk - Great UK site run by Andy Searle-Brown - Specialist in high quality components for "top end" Wing cars and Eurosport Racing, but also sells a very good range of spares for Scalex type cars. The TSRF distributor for the UK, also makes his own tyres and wheels. Retailer for Ralph Parker chassis, Mac Pinches resin shells and the Classic and Betta range of fibreglass/lexan shells.

Professor Motor - www.professormotor.com -  Based in the States and one of the major retailers. They sell the best Home Controllers available, bar none. Distributor for BWA wheels and inserts, (which I use them for). They also have the best "Which tyre fits which rim?" resource on the Internet. Distributor for DMC Decals in the States.

Patto's Place - http://members.optusnet.com.au/pattosplace/home.html - Based in Australia and run by Bruce Patterson. The best resource for Decals. Also sells a good range of tune up spares, including Little Ripper motors. A good selection of aftermarket chassis and a huge selection of Lexan shells. Delivery is excellent.

RMS Motorsport - http://home.att.net/~dreinecke/index.htm - David Reinecke's site based in the States. David specialises in Resin Shells of Trans Am cars from the 70's. Top Quality castings and he also sells a great range of Trans Am Decals. Really nice guy to deal with.

Slotbug - www.slotbug.co.uk - A great site for buying consumables in Bulk, ie 10 packs of scalextric rear axles etc. Delivery is variable but never more than two or three days.

Tetre Rouge Racing Cars (TRRC) - http://www.tertrerouge-racingcars.com/ - Marlon Foulkes site,  Resin cars from the early years of Racing and superb scale wheels.

BWA Wheels - http://www.bwaslotcars.com/ - Canadian site where you can buy the best wheels around. Plus some great chassis parts.
